Folk have started playing with Meshcore a decentralized mesh network here in the Madison area. Given my location I wasn’t sure how effective anything I did could be, but I picked up a solar unit, configured it as a repeater and put it on a pole next to the patio. I’m actually quite surprised at its reach. I am a single hop from 6 repeaters including Pine Bluff (off the map) about 17 miles away.
